 No Docs, No Test I really wanted to give this a try, but the documentation seems to be lacking. It is supposed to be wrapped up in the Help file, but all I get are empty web pages.I even heard from the developer, but his instructions don't match the options.I'm not sure if my requirement is high enough to overcome this obstacle.

Vista support Yes, it does support Vista and you can still make your service interact with desktop despite the new Vista limitations.
 excellent product We could avoid writing our existing application from scratch in order to deploy as a service. Will it run with Vista?

Great download Does exactly what the product description states. I could have downloaded the Windows toolkit to run an EXE as a service, but this thing was quick and painless, no big download, and reading involved. Did the job I needed it to do and so far, very happy. Saved me a few hours of time!
Meh not working for me Did not work for my needs. Good features but would not work on server 2003. No support.

A very quick test This was the first exe as service program I tried. Even I could figure out how to use, which is a big plus. As said, I have no experience of any other such program. However, the person who had asked me to check this had been able to do the job using Windows own tools. Judging from his description ServiceShell seems to be much easire.
